In recent years, RPCS3's has seen its performance and compatibility improve significantly. In a sense, Save States are similar to the Xbox Series X/S' Quick Resume feature, as it also allows gamers to return to games at precise moments. Loading save states allow gamers to resume their games at an exact moment, effectively allowing gamers to save their games in-between checkpoints or load their games into very precise locations. What's a save state? Think of it as a snapshot of what your game is doing at an exact moment in time.
Thanks to some hard work from a developer called elad335, the PlayStation 3 Emulator RPCS3 has just recieved support for Save States, a much requested feature.
